THINGS TO DO

There is no lack of activities to help find balance in residency: potlucks, weekly basketball, mountain and road biking, rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, camping, summer barbecues atop mesas, and even book club. Take a look at some lists of activities compiled from the combined experience of staff and providers living on the NNMC campus in Shiprock.

LOAN REPAYMENT

Providers at Northern Navajo Medical Center have successfully received awards through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program. Residents should consider NNMC as an eligible site when exploring loan repayment options through NHSC. Visit our stories to watch the NHSC promotional video featuring our Family Medicine Department Chair, Dr. Sara Michaels.
