Mandatory Annual Training: Protecting Children from Sexual Abuse by Health Care Providers
The Indian Health Service is committed to providing a safe, professional, and culturally appropriate environment to ensure protection of our patients and prevent their harm to the best of our ability, especially children. All IHS employees, contractors, and volunteers are required to complete the one-hour "Protecting Children from Sexual Abuse by Health Care Providers" training course.
If you are a federal employee:
- you must complete the training on the HHS Learning Portal (LMS).
If you are an IHS contractor or volunteer:
- please access the training on this website by clicking the training button below.
- After completing the training, please email your supervisor to report completion. Supervisors will need to ensure and note that all staff have completed training.
