Division of Systems, Review and Procedures

The Division of Systems, Review and Procedures (DSRP) reviews, interprets, and comments on policies, guidelines, and manual issuances of Congress, Treasury, the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on systems of fiscal management, including the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).  DSRP plans, directs, and implements fiscal policies and procedures in support of accounting activities for IHS by reviewing and analyzing accounting and financial management systems, financial reporting, data analytics, supporting the conversion of financial information.

The division staff also assist Area staff with accounting system transactions, correcting errors and system related emergencies, and provide training to IHS Area Offices. The Division serves as the Agency liaison between Department and Agency components, and coordinate year-end "roll-over" activities with HHS, IHS Headquarters and Area Office staff.
