Syphilis is on the rise nationwide, and Indian Country is deeply impacted. While there is easy and effective antibiotic treatment available, the diagnosis is often delayed. This results in unnecessary suffering and the continued spread of disease. However, through training ourselves to screen and treat patients when appropriate, we have the power to effectively address syphilis.
