IHS Funding for Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S.
The Indian Health Service recently announced $5 million in funding for “Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S.” to support work toward the elimination of HIV and hepatitis C in Indian Country. This includes $2.48 million for tribes, tribal organizations, and urban Indian organizations to support activities that address HIV/HCV and sexually-transmitted infections. The funding application deadline is June 17.
