Women's History Month
March is National Women’s History Month, recognizing the great contributions that women have made to our nation. Elizabeth Peratrovich, an Alaska Native of the Tlingit Nation, is remembered for her activism that led to the passage of the Alaska Anti-Discrimination Act of 1945, the first anti-discrimination law in the United States.
