Hepatitis Awareness Month
The month of May is designated as Hepatitis Awareness Month in the United States. In the United States, the most common types of viral hepatitis are hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C. Certain populations have higher rates of viral hepatitis, including baby boomers, people who inject drugs, American Indians and Alaska Natives, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and African Americans.
