IHS Recognizes AIDS in December

More than 200 American Indian and Alaska Native people received a new diagnosis of HIV in 2013. Every one is one too many. We know how to prevent HIV infections: know your status and your partner's status, use condoms consistently and correctly, don't share syringes and injection equipment, and consider Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, or PrEP.
