March is National Nutrition Month!
The theme this year is "Bite into a Healthy Lifestyle." Nutritious foods are essential to a healthy lifestyle. Grilled lean meats, lightly seasoned vegetables, whole grains, and juicy fruits are tasty and good for you. The IHS Division of Diabetes Treatment and Prevention has developed a visual guide called "My Native Plate" to help encourage portion control.
