Transmittal Notice 24-15
BACKGROUND:
The purpose of the Transmittal Notice is to transmit a copy of the revised Part 3, Chapter 34, updating “Suicide Prevention and Care,” Section 3-34.1(E), “Definition” and Section 3-34.3(A), Screening,” Indian Health Manual (IHM). The revised policy is reissued to clarify “screening” terminology with no actual change in intent or protocol.

Remove Part 3, Chapter 34, “Suicide Prevention and Care,” dated June 25, 2024 in its entirety and insert the attached copy of Part 3, Chapter 3, “Suicide Prevention and Care,” IHM including the chapter Table of Contents in its place.
