Transmittal Notice 23-04

BACKGROUND:

The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to transmit a copy of the new Part 10, Chapter 3, “Audit and Accountability,” Indian Health Manual (IHM). The purpose of this chapter is to establish audit and accountability policies and procedures for the Indian Health Service (IHS) information technology systems, consistent with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and guidelines.

MATERIAL TRANSMITTED:

Part 10, Chapter 3, “Audit and Accountability,” IHM.

MATERIAL SUPERSEDED:

None

MANUAL MAINTENANCE:

Insert the attached copy of new Part 10, Chapter 3, “Audit and Accountability,” IHM, including the chapter Table of Contents, in its place.

Log and file this TN in sequential order.
