Transmittal Notice 17-05

BACKGROUND

The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to forward a copy of the revised Delegation of Authority (DOA), Administrative #50, "Public Law 94-437, Leasing."  This DOA complies with the Assistant Secretary for Health memorandum dated March 24, 1994, "Delegation of Authority for Indian Health Care Improvement Act, Public Law 94-437, as amended."

This DOA is being reissued to reflect the change in the IHS, Office of Environmental Health and Engineering Division responsible for the signing approval of the SF-81, Request for Space forms.  In previous delegations, the approval was with the Division of Facilities Operations and will now be with the Division of Engineering Services.

MATERIAL TRANSMITTED

The revised DOA, Administrative #50, "Public Law 94-437, Leasing."

MATERIAL SUPERSEDED

This delegation supersedes the previous DOA located in the Indian Health Manual, Administrative Delegation #50, "Public Law 94-437, Leasing," dated December 3, 2015.

MANUAL MAINTENANCE

Remove Administrative Delegation #50, "Public Law 94-437, Leasing," dated December 3, 2015 and insert the attached copy of the new DOA, Administrative #50, "Public Law 94-437, Leasing," in its place.
