BACKGROUND
The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to transmit a copy of the Part 6, Chapter 5, "Tribal Delegation Meetings," Indian Health Manual (IHM). This chapter establishes the Indian Health Service (IHS) policy and procedures on holding a Tribal Delegation Meeting (TDM). The TDM is a means for Tribes to directly discuss Tribal issues or concerns on a government-to-government basis. Participation in a TDM renews and strengthens our partnership with Tribes.

Remove and discard from your manual binder IHS Circular No. 91-3, "Tribal Delegation Visits," dated April 2, 1991.
