BACKGROUND
The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to forward a copy of the newly issued Delegation of Authority (DOA), Administrative #51, "Limited Delegation of Authority for Contract Disputes Act Notifications to Tribes." This DOA is pursuant to authority delegated to the Director, Indian Health Service (IHS) from the Assistant Secretary for Health, dated July 17, 1996.
