BACKGROUND:
The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to forward two revisions to Part 8, Chapter 6, ?Limited Personal Use of Information Technology Resources,? Indian Health Manual (IHM). The revisions include new requirements concerning a waiver or exception to the Information Technology Personal Use Security Training and prohibits using Peer-to-Peer software without the Chief Information Officer?s (or his/her designee?s) approval. Except for the two revisions referenced above the content remains the same.

Part 8, Chapter 6, Section 1F(3)f on page 4, Section 1K(18) page 10, and page 11, IHM.
MATERIAL SUPERSEDED:
Page 4 and page 10, of Part 8, Chapter 6, IHM.
MANUAL MAINTENANCE:
Remove and discard the current page 4 and page 10 of Part 8, Chapter 6, IHM, from your manual system binders. Insert the attached copies of page 4, page 10 and page 11, in their proper place.
Log and file this TN is sequential order.
