BACKGROUND
This section contains the Indian Health Service (IHS) policy and procedures for the offer, acceptance, acknowledgement, and administration of gifts (including bequests, legacies, and donations from living donors) to support any IHS component or activity. This section applies to the receipt of all monetary and non-monetary gifts, except for gifts of real property.
