Transmittal Notice 98-08

BACKGROUND

This transmittal forwards the attached Delegation of Authority (D/A) for ordering, printing, and distributing Indian Health Service (IHS) forms.  The D/A enables the Director, Regional Supply Service Center (RSSC), Ada, Oklahoma, to receive requests from IHS Area Offices and IHS Headquarters, place orders on their behalf, and distribute the forms when they are received.  Tribal organizations are also eligible to obtain forms from the RSSC.

MATERIAL TRANSMITTED

The Delegation of Authority memorandum, to the Director, RSSC, (Administrative #41), through the Director, Oklahoma City Area, IHS, and the revised Index for the Administrative D/A Binder.

MATERIAL SUPERSEDED

This delegation supersedes Manual Exhibit 1-5.2A-5, Subject: ?Printing Authority," Indian Health Manual, Part 1, Chapter 5, ?Delegations of Authority,? dated November 23, 1988, Transmittal Notice No. 89.3, dated June 26, 1989.

MANUAL MAINTENANCE

File the attached memorandum in the master copy D/A Administrative Binder at Tab #41 and replace the Index with the revised copy.  Place a ?Notice of Supersession,? on Manual Exhibit 1-5.2A-5, Subject:  ?Printing Authority,? Indian Health Manual, Part 1, Chapter 5, ?Delegations of Authority," dated November 23, 1988.
