BACKGROUND
The purpose of this revised delegation is to redelegate authority to all immediate supervisors, at the discretion of the principal manager to whom this delegation is made, for approving leave requests of PHS Commissioned Officers. Previously, this authority was delegated to Area Directors and Area Executive Officers, without authority to redelegate.
