BACKGROUND
This purpose of this transmittal is to revise the Indian Health Manual, Part 1, Chapter 5 (IHM 1-5), "Delegations of Authority." Attached is a copy of a Delegation of Authority to Establish and Maintain a Regional Equal Employment Opportunity (EE0) Program. The EEO authorities are redelegated pursuant to the authority delegated to the Heads of Operating Divisions by the Director, EEO, Department of Health and Human Services, dated September 20, 1995, and to the Director of Headquarters Operations, Indian Health Service (IHS), dated June 18, 1997.
