BACKGROUND
This transmittal forwards the attached Delegation of Authority to Approve Physician Special Pay. This authority is delegated to the Associate Director, Office of Health Program Research and Development (OHPRD). The authority allows the Associate Director, OHPRD, to determine payment of physicians special pay for physicians performing direct care services or services incident to direct care for OHPRD.
