BACKGROUND
This transmittal forwards the attached Delegation of Authority Memoranda, Subject: Delegation of Authority to Approve Overtime.
This delegation was changed by the Public Health Service to include the authority to approve irregular and occasional or regularly scheduled overtime payment for work performed at home or at an alternative worksite. This delegation also authorizes additional compensation as authorized under 5 Code of Federal Regulations 550.155 (administratively uncontrollable work).
