BACKGROUND
This transmittal forwards the attached Delegation of Authority to Approve and Disapprove Intergovernmental Personnel (IPA) Assignments replacing the corresponding one located in the Indian Health Manual, Part 1, Chapter 5, Delegations of Authority. The authority delegated is retained by the Director, Indian Health Service.
