Transmittal Notice 92-03

BACKGROUND

This transmittal forwards a change to the Indian Health Manual, Part 1, Chapter 5 - Delegations of Authority, Exhibit 1-5.2F-6, Exhibit 1-5.2F-13, "To Determine Action on Within Grade Increases and To Determine Action on Quality Step Increases."  This Delegation has been changed from the manual system (Exhibit) format to memorandum format.

This transmittal is also forwarding the "Delegation of Authority to Approve and Appoint Above the Minimum Rate."

MATERIAL TRANSMITTED

Indian Health Manual, Part 1, Chapter 5 - Delegations of Authority: Personnel Delegation #37, "To Determine Action on Within Grade Increases and To Determine Action on Quality Step Increases."; Personnel Delegation #3 "Delegation of Authority to Approve and Appoint Above the Minimum Rate," changes from the Director of Headquarters Operations, IHS, to the Associate Director, Office of Administration and Management, IHS.

MATERIAL SUPERSEDED

This memorandum supersedes the delegation located in Indian Health Manual, Part 1, Chapter 5 - Delegations of Authority, Exhibit 1-5.2F-6 page 6, "To Determine Action on Within Grade Increases" TN 85.2 dated January 4, 1985 and Exhibit 1-5.2F-13, pages 1 and 2, "To Determine Action on Quality Step Increases," TN 85.2, dated January 4, 1985.

The delegation of Authority dated January 2, 1991, Personnel #3, "To Approve and Appoint Above the Minimum Rate."

MANUAL MAINTENANCE

Please remove the exhibits 1-5.2F-6, 1-5.2F-13 and Personnel Delegation #3 from the Indian Health Manual, Part 1, Chapter 5, and from your Master Copy Delegations of Authority.  Replace with copies of the attached memorandums.

Log and file the Transmittal Notice.
