BACKGROUND
This transmittal forwards the newly developed Chapter 11, Part III, Subchapter on Environmental Health Services. The sub-chapter incorporates a description of the EHS staff and program activities and defines the criteria upon which planning, implementing and evaluating of the total environmental health services program can be based. In addition, the sub-chapter includes a preliminary listing of references and procedural documents for assisting Area and field staff in carrying out program activities.
