BACKGROUND
This transmittal forwards the revised Services and Payments for Services chapter in accordance with present program of updating the Indian Health Manual. Primarily an editorial rewrite to correct addresses, titles, references, etc., a major change is made in the paragraphs concerning Beneficiaries Under the Dependents Medical Care Act to show the charges as required under PHS General Circular No. 6, Revised February 1967.
A Schedule of Fees for non-emergency, non-beneficiary care in Alaska has been added.
The Exhibits of facsimile forms have been discontinued as having served their purpose.
