PURPOSE
Under regulations stated in PART 2-4.2 Commissioned Officers of the Public Health Services on duty at Indian Health facilities may be provided with medical care at Indian Health facilities under certain conditions and determination by the Area Medical Officer in Charge that these conditions exist. Section 2-4.2A has been revised to clarify that provision and to outline proper procedures for processing necessary documents related to such care.
