BACKGROUND
This transmittal forwards Section 1-4.5B of the Indian Health Manual. This section which presents in manual format the agreement of September 15, 1955, between the Bureau of Medical Services and the Bureau of State Services on "Operating relationships of the Division of Indian Health Area Offices and the Public Health Service Regional Organizations," is part of the current headquarters project of updating existing instructions.
