This notice rescinds Indian Health Service (IHS), Indian Health Manual (IHM), Part 3, Chapter 8, “Social Work Services.” The IHM Part 3, Chapter 8, is outdated and no longer reflects social work services in the IHS. Additionally, the services outlined in this chapter are covered by other chapters in Part 3.

Please discard your copies and any file copies of IHM, Part 3, Chapter 8, “Social Work Services” at your earliest convenience.
