The Indian Health Service Health Literacy Workgroup has developed a Health Literacy White Paper featuring actionable strategies to improve health literacy. It addresses both personal health literacy and organizational health literacy, focusing on six objectives. This paper aligns with the National Action Plan to Improve Health Literacy Exit Disclaimer: You Are Leaving www.ihs.gov  and Healthy People 2030,Exit Disclaimer: You Are Leaving www.ihs.gov  which provide science-based goals to enhance the health and well-being of Americans.
