Architectural Barriers Act (ABA)
Per the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA) of 1968, [PDF - 917 KB] Indian Health Service (IHS) facilities must be accessible if they are designed, built, altered, or leased with federal funds. The Access Board has accessibility standards and enforces the ABA.
