Overview
The RRM Quality Management staffing module estimates the requirements for performance improvement staff to examine the quality of health care across professional disciplines and provides feedback for improving performance of the health care system and to integrate the information derived from all discipline specific performance improvement activities and ensures that such information is translated into resource requirements in the planning process. The workload parameters that are the key variables in the staffing estimation are hospital Average Daily Patient Load (ADPL) and Primary Care Provider Visits (PCPVs).
Services Description:
The Quality Management Staff:
- Examines the quality of health care across professional disciplines and provides feedback for improving performance of the health care system
- Integrates the information derived from all discipline specific performance improvement activities and ensures that such information is translated into resource requirements in the planning process.
Staffing Criteria
Fixed Performance Improvement staff of 0.5 FTEs for each facility, plus 1.4 FTEs Performance Improvement staff for every 38 ADPL, plus 1.2 FTEs Performance Improvement staff for every 30,000 PCPVs.
0.5 FTEs Clerical Support staff for every 38 ADPL, plus 0.4 FTEs Clerical Support staff for every 30,000 PCPVs.
