SAM.gov Entity Registration Changes
URGENT URGENT URGENT
Release Date: June 26, 2018
Source: Indian Health Service, Division of Grants Management
Subject: SAM.gov Entity Registration Changes
Dear Colleagues:
This note is being sent to all current Indian Health Service grant recipient organizations (entities). Please note that the System for Award Management portal, known as SAM.gov , has changed entity registration requirement processes.
In earnest, I am asking grant recipients to view the 'alert' and FAQs posted on the SAM.gov home page , and to do so right away.
Additionally, I am encouraging all grant recipient entities to verify the expiration dates of their registrations in SAM.gov, and to not delay in pursuing renewal in SAM.gov.
The Indian Health Service is unable to issue grant awards to entities that do not have active SAM.gov certifications and accounts. As a reminder, it is incumbent upon grantees to be certain that all certifications and registrations are current and in effect.
Questions about SAM.gov entity registration and renewal can only be answered and supported by SAM.gov customer support. Staff of the Indian Health Service cannot assist with queries regarding SAM.gov.
Most sincerely,
Robert L. Tarwater
