The Division of Asset Management (DAM) is located within the Office of Management Services at Indian Health Service (IHS) Headquarters in Rockville, Maryland. The DAM mission is to support the IHS healthcare objectives by achieving administrative excellence, workforce empowerment, and effective communication administering its programs. The DAM provides IHS-wide direction and leadership in the planning, development, coordination, and implementation of a comprehensive and effective personal property program for the IHS. This includes personal property requirements determination, accountability, management, utilization, and disposal.
