CRS 2010 (v.10.0 and p1)

CRS VERSION 10.0 PATCH 1

CRS Version 10.0 Patch 1 was released on October 14, 2010.

Key enhancements included in this patch are shown below.

  • New 2011 National GPRA & PART Report: Add menu option "GP11" that enables users to run the National GPRA & PART Report for the report period of July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2011 (GPRA year 2011) using the performance measure logic as it exists in CRS Version 10.0.
  • New 2011 Area Aggregate National GPRA & PART Report: Add menu option "AG11" that runs the Area Aggregate National GPRA & PART Report for the report period of July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2011 (GPRA year 2011) using the performance measure logic as it exists in CRS Version 10.0.
  • New 2011 GPRA Forecast Patient List: Add menu option "FO11" that runs the GPRA Forecast Patient List for the report period of July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2011 using the performance measure logic as it exists in CRS Version 10.0.
  • Update CRS Graphical User Interface (Visual CRS): The GUI will contain all functionality included in CRS 2010 Version 10.0 and Version 10.0 Patch 1.
  • Added two new topics to the Selected Measures Report: Physical Activity Assessment and Comprehensive Health Screening.
  • Added topics to the Other National Measures Report: Antidepressant Medication Management, Chlamydia Testing, and Physical Activity Assessment.
  • Fixed minor logic issues.

CRS VERSION 10.0

Key enhancements included in CRS Version 10.0 are shown below.

  • Made the following changes to the National GPRA & PART Report (both local and Area reports):
    • Removed GPRA measures that included refusals in logic. Replaced the following measures with previous GPRA Developmental measures that do not include refusals and which are now the official GPRA measures: Diabetic Retinopathy, Access to Dental Services, Dental Sealants, Topical Fluoride, Adult Immunizations: Influenza, Adult Immunizations: Pneumovax, Childhood IZ 43133, Pap Smear, Mammogram, Colorectal Cancer Screening, Tobacco Cessation, Alcohol Screening (FAS Prevention), IPV/DV Screening, Depression Screening, Comprehensive CVD Assessment, and Prenatal HIV Screening.
    • Revised Childhood Immunizations GPRA measure from 4:3:1:3:3 to 4:3:1:3:3:1 measure, which adds 1 dose of Varicella to the required vaccines.
    • Updated logic definitions for the following topics: Diabetes: Glycemic Control, Diabetes: Blood Pressure Control, Diabetes: Nephropathy Assessment, Diabetic Retinopathy, Access to Dental Services, Dental Sealants, Topical Fluoride, Adult Immunizations: Influenza, Adult Immunizations: Pneumovax, Childhood Immunizations, Cancer Screening: Pap Smear Rates, Cancer Screening: Mammogram Rates, Colorectal Cancer Screening, Tobacco Use and Exposure Assessment, Tobacco Cessation, Alcohol Screening (FAS Prevention), IPV/DV Screening, Depression Screening, Comprehensive CVD-Related Assessment, HIV Screening.
  • Moved GPRA Developmental measures into a new GPRA Developmental section of the report.
    • Added the following new GPRA Developmental measures:
      • Dental Sealants (revised to report a rate instead of a count)
      • Topical Fluoride (revised to report a rate instead of a count)
      • H1N1 Immunization Status
      • Childhood Immunizations (3 doses of Pneumococcal)
      • Colorectal Cancer Screening (two new logic definitions-HEDIS and USPSTF)
      • Comprehensive Cancer Screening (new topic)
      • Alcohol Screening (new denominator for Active Clinical patients ages 12 to 75)
      • IPV/DV Screening (removed patient education from numerator definition)
      • Depression Screening (removed patient education from numerator definition)
      • Comprehensive CVD-Related Assessment (new denominator and numerator definitions)
    • Added the following existing measures:
      • Childhood Immunizations 4:3:1:3:3:1:4 (includes 4 doses of Pneumococcal)
      • Cancer Screening: Mammogram Rates (female Active Clinical ages 42 and older)
      • Tobacco Cessation (moved from the ONM Report)
      • HIV Screening (moved from the ONM Report)
      • Use of High-Risk Medications in the Elderly (renamed from "Drugs to be Avoided in the Elderly")
  • Added the following two topics to the Selected Measures (Local) Report (topics also exist in the National GPRA & PART Report's GPRA Developmental section): H1N1 Immunization Status and Comprehensive Cancer Screening.
  • Renamed "Drugs to be Avoided in the Elderly" to HEDIS name "Use of High-Risk Medications in the Elderly" and updated medication list.
  • Revised logic definitions for several non-GPRA topics.
  • Removed Tobacco Cessation and HIV Screening measures from ONM report.
  • Added IPV/DV Screening to ONM report.
  • Included ONM Past Performance numbers.
