Medical Staff

The Medical Staff at Crownpoint Health Care Facility consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Our physicians are Board-Certified in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology.

Physicians enjoy practicing cross-cultural medicine in diverse settings- ambulatory care, urgent care, inpatient, OB, and ER.

Members of medical staff also enjoy a wide range of opportunities for personal and professional growth. Compensation is based on Market Pay, thus our providers enjoy a compensation package that is competitive with the commercial world. New Mexico has also weighed in with a tax credit of $5000.00 a year for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants practicing in underserved locales. We set aside time for personal interests/development, recreational opportunities and time away from work for family and hobbies. Crownpoint Health Care Facility sponsors one week of Continuing Medical Education for each member of medical staff.

At Crownpoint Health Care Facility, members of medical staff treat a wide range of unique disease processes, ranging from HantaVirus Pulmonary Syndrome, Plague, Tuberculosis, and Autoimmune diseases.

Members of the medical staff are provided with tools to allow advancement towards the ultimate goal of providing the best patient care possible. Phone consultation with specialists, peer review, and updated information/technology sources are available.

We also offer a Resident Elective Rotation [PDF - 48 KB] in rural primary care medicine.
