Zika Public Health Education Resources

After one of the wettest winters in recent memory, efforts to educate the public about source reduction and its importance in preventing the spread of diseases such as Zika virus are more important than ever. (Source reduction refers to the elimination of Aedes mosquito larval habitats around residences.)
Below is a list of public outreach education material currently available for use by Tribal healthcare providers and public and/or environmental health practitioners. These materials are designed to raise general public awareness about Zika virus. Some of the materials listed below are specifically intended for use in efforts to educate Tribal communities about recommended source reduction and surveillance efforts.
