The Office of the Associate Director provides direction and oversight to the following program components: Sanitation Facilities Construction, Environmental Health Services, Injury Prevention, and Health Facilities Engineering. The Associate Director works closely with health components at the Area Office in Sacramento, with counterparts at other IHS Area Offices and Headquarters, and serves as an advisor to the Area Director.
