Indian Health Service featured on Military Makeover: Operation Career airing on Lifetime TV

The Indian Health Service will be featured in an upcoming episode of Military Makeover's Special Edition: “Operation Career” Exit Disclaimer: You Are Leaving www.ihs.gov  airing on Lifetime TV.  The show highlights stories of military veterans and profiles organizations offering employment opportunities to ensure a successful transition.

The episode, airing November 7, will feature Jade Whitesell, a physician assistant at the IHS Blackfeet Community Hospital in Browning, Montana. Whitesell, who is an Army veteran, and a member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, talks about her life growing up on an Indian reservation, her military service and career goals, and her job at the IHS, which includes a training program for U.S. Special Forces medics.
