Rosebud Hospital Limits Urgent Care Hours
Effective immediately, the Rosebud Hospital Urgent Care hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week.
On December 5, the Indian Health Service announced that Rosebud Hospital Emergency Room is on divert status. If individuals are having a medical emergency, they should call 911 for possible ambulance dispatch or go to the nearest 24-hour emergency room, located in Winner, South Dakota, and Valentine, Nebraska.
The Urgent Care was previously available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The hospital has now limited hours due to staffing changes.
Rosebud Hospital remains open to provide outpatient services. Patients will continue to be seen for inpatient care, OB surgery and all other current hospital services.
Providing access to quality medical care is a top priority for IHS, and Great Plains Area Indian Health Service continues to work on long and short-term solutions to resume emergency room services at Rosebud Hospital.
