Transmittal Notice 24-04
BACKGROUND:
The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to transmit a copy of the new Part 3, Chapter 41, “Pharmaceutically Compounded Sterile Products,” Indian Health Manual (IHM). This chapter establishes the minimum requirements for all staff are responsible for compounding sterile products in facilities operated by Indian Health Service (IHS). The requirements set forth in this chapter are intended to minimize harm and prevent the contamination of compounded sterile preparations (CSPs).
