Transmittal Notice 24-02

BACKGROUND:

The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to transmit a copy of the new Part 5, Chapter 30, “Homeland Security Presidential Directive - 12,” Indian Health Manual (IHM). The purpose of this policy is to establish the Indian Health Service standards and requirements for complying with the “Homeland Security Presidential Directive - 12, Policy for a Common Identification Standard for Federal Employees and Contractors,” in accordance with applicable law.

MANUAL MAINTENANCE:

Insert the attached copy of IHM 5-30, “Homeland Security Presidential Directive - 12,” to include the chapter Table of Contents, in its place.

Log and file this TN in sequential order.
