BACKGROUND:
The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to transmit a copy of the new Part 8, Chapter 25, “Enterprise Architecture,” Indian Health Manual (IHM). The purpose of this chapter is to establish policies governing the responsibilities of the Indian Health Service (IHS) Enterprise Architecture Program to ensure compliance with Federal law and mandates, Department of Health and Human Service guidance, and strong managerial control required by IHS leadership in support of the IHS mission. This chapter is designed to operate in harmony with additional IHS policies as they relate to records and information management.
