Transmittal Notice 17-10

BACKGROUND

The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to forward a copy of the newly issued Delegation of Authority (DOA), Program #23, "Research and Investigations, Section 301 of the Public Health Service Act."  This DOA is being issued pursuant to the authorities delegated to the Director, Indian Health Service (IHS), as specified January 14, 1981, under Title III of the Public Health Service Act [42 United States Code (U.S.C.) 241, Section 301]
