BACKGROUND

The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to rescind Delegation of Authority (DOA), Administrative #12, "Indian Health Service Grants Administration Officer."

This DOA is being rescinded to reflect the updates in the Indian Health Manual.  The designation of the Chief Grants Management Officer is now established in DOA, Program #13, "Delegation of Grant Authority."

Delegation of Authority, Administrative #12, "Indian Health Service Grants Administration Officer," dated November 23, 1988.

MANUAL MAINTENANCE

Remove and discard the current copies of Administrative DOA #12, "Indian Health Service Grants Administration Officer," dated November 23, 1988, from your manual system binders.

Log and file this TN in sequential order.
