BACKGROUND
The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to transmit a copy of the Part 1, Chapter 13, "Environmental Compliance, Stewardship, and Sustainability," Indian Health Manual (IHM). This chapter establishes the policy, procedures, and responsibilities for managing the Indian Health Service (IHS) environmental compliance, stewardship, and sustainability objectives.
