BACKGROUND:

The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to forward a copy of the Delegation of Authority (DOA) Program #4, ?Indian Health Care Improvement Act, Public Law (P.L.) 94-437, as Amended.?  The DOA is being reissued to reflect the changes incurred by the 2004 Indian Health Service (IHS) Headquarters reorganization.

MATERIAL TRANSMITTED:

The revised DOA Program #4, ?Indian Health Care Improvement Act, P.L. 94-437, as Amended.?

MATERIAL SUPERSEDED:

DOA Program #4, dated June 17, 1994.

MANUAL MAINTENANCE:

Remove and discard the current copy of DOA Program #4, dated June 17, 1994, from your manual system binder(s).  Insert the attached copy of the revised DOA Program #4 in its place.

Log and file this TN in sequential order.
