BACKGROUND
This transmittal forwards the attached Delegation of Authority to Approve Physician Special Pay. This authority allows the delegees the authority to determine payment of physicians special pay for physicians performing direct patient care services or, services incident to direct patient care for the Indian Health Service (IHS).
