BACKGROUND
This transmittal revises the Indian Health Manual to indicate that incident reports are to be filed as administrative reports and not medical records, and deletes Section 1-6.5. The reference to Medical Audits in Section 1-6.5 has been made obsolete by Indian Health Circular No. 81-9, Compliance Standards with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals and Health Care Financing Administration.
