BACKGROUND
The attached material amends the Pharmacy chapter (Part 3, Chapter 7) by the addition of new Section 11C to establish procedures for the prescribing of drugs for outpatients where the need is for medication (excluding narcotics and hypnotics) on a continuing basis over a long period of time. Page 13 and 1 of the chapter have been retyped to accommodate the new material (3-7.11C), but there has been no change in the earlier contracts.
